Qualifications :

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
• Minimum 5 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2 years leadership experience preferred
• Ability to read electrical, Pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics as well as technical manuals.
• Ability to troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLC systems. Ability to program preferred.
• Computer literacy required with high proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word.  Knowledge of preventative maintenance software required. COGz / JDE preferred
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledgeable on OSHA laws and can implement all OSHA required training for the department.  Arc Flash, Lockout / Tagout, Fall protection, Confined Space.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be 18 years or older
• Successfully complete a drug test and physical exam
• Ability and willingness to be available for all shifts and the flexibility to work full-time schedule that may include weekends and holidays
• Willingness to be on-call as needed in absence or vacation of maintenance technicians

GMP & PPE REQUIRED

While on the production floor in the plant you will be required to follow and help to enforce all GMP regulations in the plant. Anyone entering the production floor must follow the GMP rules in their employee handbook, which includes the required hairnets, beard nets, and earplugs. It is also required that all personnel wear safety glasses as tasks requires.  Follow standard operating procedures including quality checks and procedures for all operations.  Also follows HACCP and SQF requirements for food quality and safety.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is exposed to wet and / or humid conditions; toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and extreme heat.  The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places : fumes or airborne particles; risk of electrical shock.  The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions; and a noise level requiring use of hearing protection.
