Job Title : Cloud AI Architect
Duration : 12 Months (Possible Extension)
Location : Plano, TX (100% Onsite)
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud AI Architect to design and implement cloud-native enterprise solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in modern cloud architectures, hands-on engineering capability, and a strong understanding of secure, scalable, and high-performance distributed systems.
What You'll Do
Design and prototype cloud-native architectures using AWS and modern engineering patterns.
Create end-to-end solutions involving APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, and distributed applications.
Work closely with software engineers, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust cloud solutions.
Ensure all architectures follow secure-by-design principles and align with DevSecOps best practices.
Conduct architectural reviews, produce blueprint documentation, and support implementation teams.
Stay ahead of emerging cloud technologies, tools, and best practices to drive continuous innovation.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of software engineering and architecture experience.
3+ years designing enterprise or cloud architectures.
Strong hands-on AWS experience, including services such as :
EC2, Lambda, API Gateway
S3, RDS, DynamoDB
CloudFormation / IaC tools
Proficiency in Python, Java, or C# for prototyping and backend development.
Solid understanding of :
APIs & microservices
Event-driven and distributed system design
Scalability, performance, and security best practices
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with additional AWS advanced services (SageMaker, Bedrock, etc. are a plus but not required for this Cloud Architect role).
Familiarity with DevOps / DevSecOps pipelines and automation tooling.
Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
