Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in accordance with individualized care plans and established clinical protocolsAssist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting, dressing, and mobilitySafely transfer, position, and ambulate patients using appropriate equipment and techniquesMonitor patients’ physical and emotional condition and promptly report changes to nursing staffAccurately document patient care, observations, and vital information in electronic or paper medical recordsSupport pediatric patients and their families with compassion, reassurance, and clear communicationMaintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environmentFollow infection prevention and control policies, including proper use of PPE and aseptic techniquesCollaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure continuity of careUphold patient rights, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulationsQualifications & Experience
Nursing Assistant certification (CNA)Previous experience in a healthcare, hospital, clinic, or long-term care setting preferredBasic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare proceduresUnderstanding of human anatomy, physiology, and common patient care practicesAbility to safely lift, transfer, and assist patients with mobility (with or without assistive devices)Familiarity with infection control standards and infectious disease protocolsKnowledge of aseptic techniques and standard precautionsStrong attention to detail and accurate documentation skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
