Description

KWAVE has an immediate opening for an outgoing, energetic, and highly motivated Sales Account Executive to serve in its Southern California listening area. The successful candidate is someone who can focus on prospecting, client relationships, and developing advertising strategies to highlight the radio station's FM & AM signals, as well as its developing digital strategies. Key duties include : marketing, researching client needs, creating presentations & reports, and negotiating sales contracts.Radio or other media sales experience is highly preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities include :

Directly selling ad spots on the radio station; identifying and calling on new potential clients; helping clients understand how KWAVE can help grow their business and address other business needs; and presenting customized solutions to meet those needs

Key Skills :

Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills are crucial for success in this role.Understanding radio advertising formats, target demographics, and effective messaging is also important.Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as an outgoing personality and good organizational skills essential.

  • Client Relationship Management : Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • Marketing Strategy : Developing effective advertising campaigns and strategies.
  • Sales : Presenting radio advertising options, negotiating contracts, and closing sales.
  • Research : Analyzing market data and client needs to create effective advertising plans.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to finger, handle, feel or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
