The Business Analyst – Supply Chain Systems reporting into Director of Enterprise Applications; acts as the bridge between business operations and technical teams, ensuring that supply chain systems effectively support buying, planning, distribution, and logistics functions. This role is responsible for gathering and translating business requirements into system solutions that drive efficiency, accuracy, and process automation across the supply chain ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to analyze and document requirements for supply chain system.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, process flows, and system configurations to support planning and buying operations.
- Support the implementation, testing, and deployment of new systems and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct data validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-implementation reviews to ensure system accuracy and performance.
- Collaborate with IT, vendors, and business teams to troubleshoot issues, streamline workflows, and improve system usability.
- Maintain up-to-date process and system documentation to support ongoing training and change management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.5+ years of experience in business analysis, application support, or systems implementation within supply chain environments. In-depth supply chain knowledge in areas such as receiving, shipping, ASN, using sortation system, cycle counts, physical inventory, labor management, creating manifest, carton labels, ticket printing etc is essential for this role.Proven experience gathering and documenting business requirements for enterprise applications.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.Experience with process automation, data integration, and system optimization is a plus.Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Definitions of Success
