Florida Class D Licensed Security Officer

We are seeking full-time Florida Class D Licensed Security Officers to join our security team at our Westside Jacksonville facility. This position is responsible for enforcing access control, providing facility support, and assisting with safety and emergency procedures. Ideal candidates will be professional, reliable, and detail-oriented with strong customer service skills. This role operates on a consistent 12-hour shift rotation offering a stable, full-time schedule.

Pay : $16.75 / hr

Schedule : 12-Hour shifts (6 : 00am - 6 : 00pm or 6 : 00pm - 6 : 00am)

Rotation : 3 days on / 4 days off, then 4 days on / 3 days off

Key Responsibilities :

• Answer and respond to incoming calls, emails, and messages.
• Staff the front desk, greeting residents and visitors while providing facility information.
• Enforce entry rules for restricted parking and secure access points.
• Lock and unlock access points daily at 6 : 00 AM and 6 : 00 PM.
• Assist with traffic coordination during high-traffic or shift change periods.
• Maintain and distribute updated security manuals and tech procedures.
• Ensure waste pickup drivers sign proper documentation.
• Use checkpoint systems and tools to log guard metrics and patrols.
• Track and document locker assignments and access records.
