Systems Engineer - Digital Signal Processing

Contract Position

Pay Estimated : $62.36-$67.36 / Hour

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.

Responsibilities

• Apply Detection & Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Information Theory to develop DSP algorithms.
• Perform statistical analysis of signal parameters for space systems.
• Develop and model algorithms using MATLAB, including signal processing toolboxes.
• Support RF signal mitigation and radar signal processing efforts.
• Contribute to modeling, simulation, and Monte Carlo analysis.
• Engage in phased array and beamforming algorithm development.
• Collaborate on SmallSat / CubeSat systems development and hardware integration efforts (e.g., FlatSat, HWIL testing).
• Contribute to Agile development of hardware, software, and firmware systems.
• Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo / MagicDraw with SysML for system design and requirements tracing.
• Support space payload design, development, and integration / test (I&T) activities.
