Heavy Bridge Civil Superintendent – Heavy Civil & Bridge Projects
Location : Cincinnati, OH
Type : Full-Time, Onsite
Salary Range : $100,000 – $125,000 base + benefits

About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading infrastructure contractor, is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Bridge Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale bridge construction projects throughout Cincinnati, OH. This role requires expertise in steel and concrete structures and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, on budget, and with an emphasis on safety and quality.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience supervising bridge projects and will thrive in a fast-paced, field-oriented environment with responsibility for crews, equipment, subcontractors, and coordination with project stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and coordinate on-site construction for heavy civil bridge projects
- Read, interpret, and execute plans per project drawings and specifications
- Maintain daily project documentation and forecasting schedules
- Develop and update look-ahead schedules and project tracking
- Oversee site safety, compliance, and quality assurance
- Lead and motivate field crews and subcontractors
- Host weekly foreman and safety meetings
- Liaise with vendors, inspectors, engineers, and project managers
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and environmental requirements
- Monitor labor, material, and equipment productivity and utilization
What You Bring
10+ years of heavy civil bridge construction supervision experienceCivil Engineering or construction-related degree (preferred)Proven ability to manage crews, logistics, and subcontractors effectivelyDeep understanding of bridge structure specs—steel, concrete, piling, etc.Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skillsOSHA certification and strong safety track recordBased in or near Cincinnati, OH (local experience strongly preferred)What’s Offered
