About the Role

Our client, is an applied AI research lab building high-fidelity agent environments and tooling with the bold thesis of becoming the single global workforce supplier of AI employees for the entire global economy. They are currently focused on conquering the frontiers of planning, memory, and "always-on-behavior" for their agents.

As a Founding Engineer , you will have a high-agency role, working directly with the CEO and founding team. Your contributions will go beyond just code, actively shaping the product, culture, and architecture. You must be prepared to ship fast, experiment, and iterate without heavy process.

What You'll Do

• Own large chunks of the AI employee product (Kafka / Hermes) , with a focus on backend-heavy systems, data pipelines, and agent integrations ( 70% backend, 30% frontend ).
• Work one-on-one with the CEO and founding team to iterate rapidly based on customer feedback.
• Ship new features that directly support customer deployments, not research prototypes.
• Help with infrastructure scaling (cloud and on-premise) and improve the proprietary agent system.
• Be comfortable moving seamlessly between Python / TypeScript backend and frontend to deliver complete features.
• Engage directly with users and help shape the company culture for future team members.
