Maintenance Mechanic

Performs a variety of carpentry, plumbing, painting, and related trades, and crafts work in maintaining and repairing buildings, structures, and related fixtures, equipment, and mold remediation and documentation.

Responsibilities

Carpentry :

• Checks and corrects minor deficiencies in exterior, interior, roofs, buildings, and structures. Performs repairs that requires accurate fitting, structural soundness, and neat appearance. Repairs / adjusts a variety of items such as doors, assuring the proper plumb, opening and closing, door hinges, latches, handles, bolts, strikers, keepers, closures, and other hardware; windowpanes, sashes, frames, tracks, and runners; wood and tile floors; cracked, broken, missing, or leaking roofs and interior walls, partitions, decorative trim, display cases, and bulletin boards. Repairs damaged or leaking gutters and downspouts but does not fabricate gutters and downspouts. Utilizes hand tools of the trade and such shop tools as power saws, planes, miter saws, and routers. Mold remediation and documentation. Replace existing Wall Insulation.
