Senior Preconstruction Manager – Education / Municipal Markets

Location : Atlanta, GA (Hybrid up to 16 hours / week)

Winter Construction is hiring a Senior Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating and preconstruction work across our Education and Municipal markets. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape project budgets, mentor junior team members, and work closely with clients, architects, and consultants.

What you’ll do :

• Lead preconstruction efforts for commercial projects in the education and municipal sectors
• Manage estimating processes, quantity take-offs, and bid day spreadsheets
• Oversee junior estimators and preconstruction interns, providing mentorship and support
• Collaborate with project executives, owners, architects, and consultants to define scope and budgets
• Present budgets, proposals, and cost models to clients
• Make sure all estimates are accurate and align with Winter’s standards
• Help support business development by offering pricing strategies and market insight
