CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

Position Summary

There is a current need for a CNC Machinist to work 2nd shift at the Parker Hannifin location in Huntsville, Alabama.

The job requires the set-up and operation of CNC machines to perform precision metal cutting.This position is full-time with a $2.00 / hour shift premium and quarterly profit sharing.

Essential Job Functions : Set-up and operate CNC machines

Understand CNC programsRead and interpret technical drawings and specificationsUse precision measuring instrumentsApply machine shop mathematicsUtilize lean principlesAdhere to all company policies and proceduresParticipate in work groups High Performance Teams for continuous improvementPerforms other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee.Work Conditions : Standing for 8-10 hours per day; frequent reaching, grasping and lifting up to 25 lbs.; occasional walking; working in and around oil and solvent.Qualifications

Required Testing : Basic skills test and interview will be conducted to determine qualifications.Note : Some previous education and / or experience operating CNC machines is strongly preferred.
