A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DOG COUNSELOR

In this animal counseling position, you love coming to work each day ready to entertain our four-legged guests with a variety of personalities. Physical activity is a huge part of your job as you bend to pick up dogs of all shapes and sizes and work to get their wiggles out and energy levels down. To maintain an organized workspace, you clean throughout the day, yes this includes animal messes. You also collaborate with your team members to ensure all tasks and duties are accomplished. At the end of the day, you feel great about creating a loving and comfortable atmosphere for our furry guests.

DOG COUNSELOR QUALIFICATIONS

• Able to stand on your feet for 8 hours and lift more than 50 pounds
• Have flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

DOG COUNSELOR WORK SCHEDULE

Our pet care business operates 7-days a week 24 hours a day . Nights, weekends, and holidays are prime time for Urban Pooch. We are currently hiring for 2nd and 3rd shifts, which are from 2 : 30pm-11pm and 11pm-7 : 30am respectively. As we dog board at busy times, we expect all animal counseling team members to pitch in wherever needed .
