Physical Therapist

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physical Therapist to join our team at Devana Group in Lubbock, TX. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse patient population and provide individualized treatment plans to help patients recover from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries.

You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, utilizing the latest techniques and equipment to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities :

  • Evaluate patients' medical history and perform physical examinations to determine the best course of treatment
  • Develop personalized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs and goals
  • Utilize a variety of techniques, exercises, and equipment to help patients improve their mobility, strength, and range of motion
  • Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to continue their progress at home
  • Monitor patients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
  • Stay current with the latest advancements and techniques in physical therapy through continuing education and professional development opportunities

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Texas
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
  • CPR certification is required
