This is an onsite role based in Farmers Branch, TX. Must currently be within commutable distance.
The Opportunity :
This position will focus on the broader impact of the finance organization and assist in partnering with various departments to develop and manage enterprise-wide reporting with an emphasis on bigger picture analytics. The Senior Financial Analyst reports to the Sr. Manager of FP&A providing support to the greater Finance Organization.
Responsibilities :
- Reports to the Sr. Manager of FP&A, provides support to the greater Finance Organization.
- Take an active role in supporting Finance and Accounting organizations as well as partners with Operations, and other functional departments.
- Assists in preparations of annual budgets, monthly financial reporting, variance analysis.
- Work cross functionally to drive process improvements and automation.
- Track and measure financial performance, assists in development of new KPIs.
- Apply a broad knowledge of general accounting, percentage of completion, and financial analysis to provide insight and an understanding of the performance of the business.
- Assist in working capital reporting and management.
- Develop, monitor, and report on Balance Sheet and Cash Flow KPIs.
- Provides basic budget training and guidance to budget holders for assigned categories.
- Deliver meaningful insight and practical recommendations, in addition to sound financial data analysis, to inform and influence business decisions.
- Manage ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests.
Background / Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is preferred; MBA or CPA is a plus.4+ years finance experience in high growth multi state organization.Construction experience is nice to have but not required.Experience with private equity environments is preferred but not required.Demonstrated technical skills in excel, modeling and interpreting financial statements.Experience working with EPM / FPM (Cognos, Hyperion, OneStream, Prophix, Power BI).Job Type : Full-time.
