Position Overview :
JCW is partnering with an Industrial Bank who is looking for a Compliance Officer to join their team. The Compliance Officer will play a critical role in ensuring that operations align with all relevant regulatory requirements, particularly in the context of the Banks partnerships with FinTech companies.
This individual will be responsible for monitoring, assessing, and mitigating compliance risks, as well as implementing and maintaining robust compliance programs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and enforce compliance policies and procedures tailored to the unique needs of our partnerships with FinTech companies.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify potential areas of risk and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including legal, risk management, and business development teams, to address compliance concerns and support business objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices related to FinTech partnerships and industrial banking.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance matters, providing guidance and training to employees and partners as needed.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.
g., CRCM, CAMS) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance roles within the financial services industry, with specific experience in industrial banking and / or partnerships with FinTech companies strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and requirements, including but not limited to consumer protection laws as well as BSA / OFAC.
