About The Position

Job Title : Echo Technologist

Profession : Echo Technologist

Specialty : Echocardiography

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Rotating

Hours per Shift : 8 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in a similar setting is required.

License : Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and / or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification is required.

Certifications : Ultrasound Certification (Equivalency), BLS

Must-Have :

• Echo vascular skills (or vascular / echo expertise) are necessary.
• Experience with GE Equipment and EKG is beneficial.
• Prior travel experience is required.

Description :

The role involves working as a cardiovascular sonographer.

The position includes conducting echocardiograms and potentially electrocardiograms.

This is an in-patient echo lab position that requires rotating weekends, holidays, and call responsibilities.

The work schedule is Monday through Friday with rotation as needed.

Call responsibilities include PRN adult echo calls every fifth weekend and one holiday.

The organization reserves the right to cancel assignments with little notice based on patient census.

All requests for time off must be submitted prior to the assignment.

Candidates must be able to float as required within the position.
