Senior Program Coordinator

Creighton University is seeking to hire a Senior Program Coordinator .

This role supports the Department of Biomedical Sciences, specifically the department chair and administrator. Duties typically include assisting with graduate program administration, internal and external operational / administrative liaison, departmental communications and reporting.

This is a full-time, hourly paid position.

Key Responsibilities

Supports the Chair of Biomedical Sciences Department.

Coordinates and provides advanced administrative support of a specific program or program(s).

Plans and coordinates the day-to-day fiscal, administrative, and operational activities of a specific program or program(s).

Qualifications

Associate's Degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's Degree preferred

6 years' administrative and / or office management experience required

Intermediate to advanced proficiency skills in MS Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :

• Ability to make administrative / procedural decisions and judgments;
• Management experience is a plus;
• Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and / or special events;
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community;
• Ability to lead and train staff and / or students;
• Basic knowledge of finance, accounting, and budgeting procedures;
• Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports;
• Ability to function effectively as a team member, while exercising independent and critical judgment;
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize work with multiple and conflicting demands in a deadline-oriented environment
