Our client is embarking on an important project to streamline their records management system, and we’re seeking an organized, detail-oriented individual to lead this project to success! As a Filing Specialist, you'll create and implement a system for organizing and optimizing HR records.
You'll be responsible for organizing and auditing both physical and electronic files, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.

What You’ll Do
- Create an organized system for the storage of all physical files and clean out the current file room.
- Retrieve and organize electronic files from the HRIS into a shared drive or physical file.
- Review and compare records of current versus termed employees.
- Thoroughly audit personnel files to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Verify I-9 documentation for both current and past employees to confirm compliance.
- Convert records of digitally onboarded employees into physical files.
What You’ll Bring
- High School Diploma
- Experience with HRIS and Payroll systems
- Proficiency with MS Office and Google Suite
- Ability to work independently with strong self-motivation
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Capability of lifting up to 25 lbs
