We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Permanent Client Services Accountant to join our rapidly growing financial services firm. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive accounting services to our diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting, tax preparation, account reconciliation, and auditing. This role requires proficiency in QuickBooks, both Desktop and Online versions, and a solid understanding of GAAP, accruals, deferrals, and cost accounting.

Responsibilities :

As a Client Services Accountant, your duties will include but are not limited to :

1. Managing and maintaining client relationships by providing top-tier accounting services.

2. Preparing financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

3. Conducting financial audits to ensure compliance with legal guidelines and internal policies.

4. Preparing, filing, and managing client tax returns and documents in a timely manner.

5. Reconciling accounts and resolving any discrepancies.

6. Performing bookkeeping duties such as recording, updating, and maintaining financial data.

7. Utilizing QuickBooks to manage client accounts and perform various accounting tasks.

8. Applying principles of cost accounting to conduct studies which provide detailed cost information.

9. Ensuring adherence to GAAP in all accounting practices.

10. Assisting clients with financial planning and forecasting, providing advice on budget management and cost reduction.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for the Client Services Accountant role should possess the following :

1. A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and tax preparation.

3. Proficiency in QuickBooks, both Desktop and Online versions.

4. Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, accruals, deferrals, and cost accounting.

5. Proven experience in preparing financial statements and conducting financial audits.

6. Exceptional skills in account reconciliation and tax accounting.

7. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.

8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
