Certified Medical Assistant

Certified Medical Assistant performs a variety of clinical and clerical functions, in accordance with established policies and procedures, to assist the practitioners and management in daily office operations. This is a technical position with no supervisory responsibility. As a Certified Medical Assistant in our Primary Care and Multi-Specialty practice you will :

• Prep and assist in the exam room
• Triage Patients
• Collects urine and draw blood samples
• Take and record height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, and pulse of patients

This is a Full-time 37.5hr per week position with varied hours of 8 : 00AM to 8 : 30PM with a Monday through Friday and alternate Saturdays schedule. This position is located in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. Must be flexible to work and float to other locations if needed at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Medical Group.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
