Responsibilities Position is in an ICU setting at a Level 1 Trauma Center Night shifts with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week (7 : 00 p.m. to 7 : 30 a.m.), including every other weekend Mandatory floating to other units and Cook facilities within a 50-mile radius as needed No block scheduling or special scheduling requests are allowed Uses Cerner EMR system Navy blue scrubs required and are not provided Team-based model utilized when floated outside primary competency No home unit assignments; candidates may be assigned to a variety of units Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of accepting an offer Maximum of 5 days RTO per contract, no more than 2 consecutive days, and no RTO on weekends or during holidays Holiday coverage required with no RTO allowed on or adjacent to designated holidays First-time travelers are considered Parking is available in a garage adjacent to the hospital at a cost Candidates must be highly responsive during onboarding to ensure contract compliance Requirements Active IL RN license in hand at the time of consideration Minimum of 2 years recent acute care ICU experience required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Proof of COVID vaccination required (booster not required) Must live within 75 miles of the facility to be considered Pending licenses are not accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625003.
