Perform general maintenance of buildings, including trash removal, recycling, moving furniture and boxes, setting up rooms for special events, and breaking down rooms after events.

Responsibilities :

• Remove trash and recycle materials as needed.
• Move and arrange furniture for various setups.
• Prepare rooms for special events and dismantle setups afterward.
• Assist with relocating offices.
• Maintain clean offices and general facilities.

Work Environment :

Work in a multi-building college campus that includes classrooms, shared spaces, grounds, hospitals, and laboratories. The position is on the 1st shift, from 7 am to 4 pm, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, NJ.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $16.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
