A company is looking for a Medical Billing and Coding Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain patient records to support billing

Resolve claims requiring pre-bill resolution and payment denials

Manage communications between practice and vendor staff, reporting on revenue cycle metrics

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred

Proficiency in medical billing, coding, and terminology

Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes, and modifiers

Experience with medical office procedures and collections

Comfort with electronic medical records systems
