Associate Director, Housing Operations

The Associate Director for Housing Operations reports directly to the Director of Housing and Residential Life with a primary focus on managing housing operations for Radford University's residential system, which encompasses both residence halls and off-campus apartments, housing approximately 3,000 students. The Associate Director for Housing Operations ensures a thriving and engaged residential experience that aligns with the mission of the institution, advances the strategic plan, and supports student achievement and discovery. The Associate Director for Housing Operations provides strategic leadership and invested supervision for housing operations, including :

• Serve as a member of the Housing and Residential Life senior leadership team.
• Recruitment, selection, on-going development, and performance management of professional and student staff.
• Development and implementation of housing assignment cycles and processes.
• Ongoing occupancy management, assessment, and data reporting.
• Residential facilities, furniture, and equipment management.
• Oversight of department technology initiatives with primary focus in the areas of housing management software, marketing, communication, social media, and website management.
• Extensive collaboration with several units across campus, including Enrollment Management, Finance and Administration, Facilities Management, etc.
