Position Summary :
House Managers work closely with the Head House Manager, Stage Management, and Box Office Management. During performances, the House Managers are responsible for front of house operation in the Tuacahn Amphitheater. Welcome patrons to the theater and oversee their safety and satisfaction throughout the entire production. As a
House Manager, you will listen to patron feedback, provide resolutions when needed, and answer any questions. The House Manager also helps the Head House Manager supervise, train, schedule, and respond to feedback for over 200 volunteers. Additionally, a House Manager will ensure that each volunteer fulfills their responsibilities accurately and efficiently.
Essential Duties
- Arrive early and walk through the property to set up for successful performances
- Communicate effectively with other departments as needed
- Ensure the plaza and amphitheater adhere to the safety guidelines
- Be familiar with the amphitheater seating chart and volunteer positions
- Help patrons locate their seats
- Resolve seating or ticket concerns
