Overview
The Air Combat Test & Training (ACTT) Department within Mission Systems is committed to enhancing training capability and realism, enabling U.S. warfighters and international partners to "train like you fight." Our ACTT engineering team develops state-of-the-art cryptographic, datalink, networking, and command and control systems that support threat and weapon simulations. We specialize in designing secure Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation (ACMI) systems, guiding them from concept through accreditation, production, and installation.
What You Will Do
- Support the development of new air combat training capabilities for the Tactical Combat Training System Increment II (TCTS II) system-of-systems
- Create and maintain system designs, interface definitions, requirements, analyses, trade studies, and other documentation
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in a supportive agile development environment
- Assist with system testing, installation, and customer support
- Provide subject matter expertise to software development teams to ensure proper implementation of requirements
- Work in a secure lab environment
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 2 years of prior relevant experienceMust have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) Secret or above security clearanceExperience with the systems development processWilling to travel up to 10%Qualifications We Prefer

Note : This is a U.S.-based role. Salary range listed : 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. Benefits vary by business unit and may be affected by collective-bargaining agreements.
