We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Manager to join our client's team on a long-term contract basis in Houma, Louisiana. Responsibilities :

• Oversee and perform daily accounting operations, including data entry and account management.
• Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice approvals and payments.
• Assist with month-end close procedures to ensure timely financial reporting.
• Support the preparation and analysis of general ledger accounts.
• Facilitate financial statement audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Familiar with accounting for labor and part sales.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial transactions.
• Proven experience in accounting operations, including month-end close and general ledger management.
• Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and journal entry processes.
• Familiarity with bank reconciliation procedures.
• Proficiency in managing accounts payable workflows.
• Experience supporting financial statement audits.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
