Billing Team Lead

The Billing Team Lead will coordinate billing and collections activities to assure that standards are adhered to and that the electronic claim filing process functions efficiently and accurately. Minimum Education Required High School Diploma / GED. This position will be based out of Franklin and Framingham. There is potential to shift to a hybrid model after 90 days at managers discretion.

Responsibilities :

• Manage and maintain the billing processes and programs to provide effective electronic filing strategies
• Provide ongoing training and education to billing staff to ensure that policies and procedures are followed
• Meet with the Senior Finance Manager regularly to effectively communicate and resolve billing issues, set and prioritize goals, improve processes and review insurance and billing status
• Assists with staff communication, providing updates, resolving issues, setting goals and maintaining standards
• Retrieves and maintains electronic filing and edit reports
• Research and correct claim submission reports
• Assist Director with all provider enrollments are timely and accurate for all carriers
• Assist with edits and provides monthly edit statistics
• Assist with training of Billing personnel in electronic filing and data entry methods
• Ensure that patient billing submission is efficient and organize the billing schedule
• Assist with maintaining and establishing departmental policies and procedures, objectives, patient, and customer service policies
• Perform quality reviews as needed
• Work as a liaison between team members and clinic staff
• Assist with developing team goals and action plans
• Attend and actively participate in supervision and staff meetings
