The hardware team at ISEE is seeking a full-time electrical engineer with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of electrical engineering. This job includes research as well as development of replacement or new subsystems in the electro-mechanical architecture for both prototype designs as well as production intent designs for autonomous vehicles.
Role responsibilities include :
- Embedded development, programming and working with embedded developers
- Defining and designing communications systems such as CAN(J1939, CANOpen) SPI, I2C, USB, and RS-232.
- Working with others to develop and design the overall electrical architecture
- Working with others to integrate electronics into vehicles
- Design of safety critical system elements
- Verification and Validation of electrical systems
- Work with suppliers and drive the implementation of development into production
- PCB layout, schematic design
Qualifications
Bachelor / Master Degree in Electrical EngineeringPassionate about self-driving vehiclesExcellent communication skillsExperience with electrical drawings and parts managementExperience with prototyping of boardsPreferred
