Job Description
Responsibilities
- The Sr. Reliability Engineer - fixed equipment will function as the equipment technical SME in support of maintenance and operations.
- Perform root cause failure analysis (RCFA) on fixed equipment component and system failures, develop and recommend corrective action proposals.
- Work with plant inspector to ensure continuous mechanical integrity of the plant fixed equipment.
- Modifications and improvements of maintenance re-conditioning and repair procedures and practices.
- Relocation provided. $140K-$165K.
Requirements
- The Sr. Reliability Engineer will have a BSME (or similar) and 10+ years experience as a Fixed Equipment Engineer in a chemical plant or refinery.
- Detailed knowledge of mechanical standards as applied in petrochemical industry and knowledge of various Codes (e.g. API, ASME, ANSI, NFPA).
- Knowledge and understanding of industry best RAGAGEP engineering practices and principles.
- Experienced with overhaul and repair practices on pressure vessels, tanks, piping, etc.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
