Description :

Start date is non-negotiable.

The unit serves adult and geriatric medical / surgical patients.

Patients range from young adults to late adults (ages 18 - 60+).

Nurse to patient ratios are 1 : 6.

The core staffing plan includes registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), patient care technicians (PCTs), and nurse interns (NIs).

An RN assumes full responsibility for the patients on each team.

Travel staff may be asked to float to different units or facilities within a 35-mile radius of the original assignment.

Floating will be based on staffing needs, patient census, and acuity.

Travelers will always be notified before their scheduled shift if a float assignment is required.
