Upper West Side Restaurant is actively seeking an experienced multi-tasking Hospitality Professional for an exciting opportunity to work at our “upscale-casual” location. The right candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, communication skills, and a respectful, positive attitude that motivates other team members to provide a superior level of hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Operations Management, Guest Experience, Staff Supervision & Training
- Lead and inspire the front-of-house service team with energy and clarity,
- Maintain the highest standards of hospitality, service, and floor operations
- Oversee daily dining room service, including opening and closing procedures
- Manage guest relations, especially with VIP clientele, ensuring personalized and memorable experiences
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager, Events Coordinator, bar, kitchen, and reservations teams
- Uphold cleanliness, organization, and operational excellence at all times
- Train and mentor new and existing staff in service standards and company culture
- Perform any other duties as directed by the general manager or ownership
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a management or supervisory role in upscale or fine dining preferredExcellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skillsDeep understanding of the steps of service, wine, and food knowledgeAbility to remain calm under pressure and maintain composure during peak service hoursExperience with reservation systems (Resy, OpenTable) preferredA natural leader with a hands-on, team-first approachFlexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidaysIf you are a highly motivated candidate looking to further your career in the hospitality industry, and you have a passion for fine food and beverage, we would love to hear from you.
