Warehouse Worker

WPX is hiring for a part-time warehouse worker in our Spokane, WA hub. This position will work Monday through Friday, starting at 4 : 00 AM and usually ends by 8 : 00 AM. In this active position you will work alongside other warehouse associates to receive truckloads of parcels, then sort and stage the parcels for their final destination. Between truckloads, everyone pitches in to keep the warehouse clean and safe. You may be the right fit for this position if you are highly motivated, are attentive to details, can work independently and with others as needed, and can lift and carry 50 pounds and up to 70 pounds occasionally. Job Description

Summary

The warehouse worker is responsible for safely, efficiently and accurately receiving, recording, sorting, storing, and stacking inbound freight and preparing outbound freight. This is an active position - workers must be able to stand on their feet, bend, stoop, climb, reach, push, pull, lift and carry 50 pounds while moving about the warehouse for the majority of their shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently receive freight and maintain accurate records
• Accurately sort freight to appropriate destination in a time sensitive situation
• Store freight as required by clients
• Prepare freight for shipment
• Maintain warehouse in a clean and orderly manner
• Establish and maintain courteous business relationships with drivers, customers, clients and co-workers
• Maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed, professional appearance including proper uniform
• Maintain excellent work habits including attendance, punctuality and safety
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and guidelines
• Perform other duties as required
