Job Title : Quality Inspector

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Quality Inspector responsible for inspecting incoming materials, first-piece samples, in-process work, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct dimensional, visual, and mechanical inspections using standardized procedures and documentation.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify product specifications.
• Determine acceptance or rejection of items based on established criteria.
• Maintain inspection records and document defects; collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and ensure specification compliance.
• Report quality concerns or findings to the quality management team.

Work Environment

The role requires regular standing, walking, sitting, using hands and fingers, reaching, and verbal communication. Occasionally, moving items up to 100 lbs. with appropriate equipment is required. Visual requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The work environment may include exposure to manufacturing conditions and requires adherence to safety protocols.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Geneva, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00 / hr.
