Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience. Minimum five years of experience in lending required. Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or client complaints. Present a professional image in dealing with customers, interdepartmental members, and external representatives. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Strong analytical skills with a thorough understanding of lending operations and client needs. Accurate typing / keyboarding skills; basic computer skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet software applications, and e-mail. Medical, Dental, & Vision : Open Bank offers medical, dental, and vision insurance for all full-time employees and their immediate family members. Employees become eligible for insurance benefits on the first of the month following their hire date. Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, & Long-Term Disability : Open Bank pays 100% of the cost. Flexible Spending Account (FSA) : Tax-advantaged financial accounts are offered for employees to pay for eligible out-of-pocket expenses (health, dependent care, transit, and parking) with pre-tax dollars. 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan : Open Bank matches 100% of the first 6% of employees' contributions. Employees are eligible to participate on the first of the month following 90 days of employment. Paid Time Off (PTO) : Employees begin to accrue PTO hours at the time of hire to use for vacation, illness, or other personal reasons. Employee Assistance Program (EAP) : The EAP offers counseling sessions, online tools and resources, and legal and financial guidance for employees and their family. Job Title : VP & Loan Officer III
Department : Commercial Loan Center II (OC Satellite Office)
We are looking for VP & Loan Officer III to join our Commercial Loan Center II (CLC II) team in the OC Satellite Office. The VP & Loan Officer III is responsible for the underwriting, documentation, processing, and maintenance of lending products and loan files.
Key Responsibilities :
- Underwrite commercial loan products following the bank's loan policy and procedures, and general prudent lending practices.
- Interview applicants for new loans and discuss loan products and requirements.
- Site visitations to new and existing borrowers.
- Work closely with entry level loan officers and demonstrate how to process applications and assess potential risk factors.
- Maintains high level of awareness in the areas of regulatory compliance, loss prevention, security matters and adherence to the Bank's policies and procedures.
- Provide quality service to all clients and potential clients of the Bank.
