Assistant Food & Beverage Manager
The Four Seasons Resort L?na'i is looking for an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. What You'll Do
The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, and managing financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and adherence to labor standards to achieve operational efficiency and profitability. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
- Oversee daily operations in the outlet, while assisting in other Resort outlets such as other Restaurants, Room Service, Bar Lounge, Pool & Beach etc. as needed.
- Support operations through guest service, cost control, menu writing, merchandising, and accounting.
- Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Department to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; daily activities and planning for operation.
- The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, residents, and group contacts.
- Describe and ensure quality of all food & beverage items, amenities, ingredients, and preparation methods. With the ability for menu writing and planning.
- Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash control.
- Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments; conduct preshift meetings with staff.
- Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned by management.
What To Bring
Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States (unless the candidate is currently in a managerial position at another Four Seasons location as they may qualify for a L-1 Visa sponsorship).Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card.Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push / pull as needed during shifts.Weekend and holiday availability required, with flexible scheduling.Prior experience of leadership in a luxury hotel or food & beverage setting is preferred.Join Our 'Ohana and Enjoy Our Amazing Benefits :
