Responsibilities We have an immediate opening for a Senior Project Mechanical Engineer responsible for HVAC design (airside, hydronic, steam) and Compressed Gas Design for a wide variety of multi-disciplinary (A&E) project types, including but not limited to : Mission Critical Laboratories Healthcare Advanced Manufacturing Utility Plant and campus distribution Corporate Commercial Perform engineering studies for highly technical clients whose details include but are not limited to payback analyses, knowledge of industry trends, and local contractor and maintenance expertise;
- Technical writing for engineering studies, Basis of Design documents, and narratives for a non-technical audience explaining engineering concepts to facilitate decision-making;
- Overseeing Mechanical calculations; Developing system applications; Equipment sizing and calculations; Developing Specification;
- Coordination with teams across Page including electrical, plumbing, fire protection, architectural, structural and civil;
- Signing and sealing contract documents; Mentorship, both continual as well as presentations for in-house continuing education programs;
- Actively contribute to proposal development and project pursuits. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering from an ABET accredited, four-year university;
- 15+ years of engineering experience in the building design and construction industry with a current Professional Engineers license in the US;
- 5+ years of experience as the primary engineering interface with multiple clients either as a project manager or as the engineering lead;
- Knowledge of industry trends; Technical writing experience and proficiency; Proficiency in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Project;
Experience with REVIT and knowledge of BIM; Experience with Trane Trace or IES VE Energy Modeling software; Willingness to travel overnight for projects up to 10% of the time. #LI-JS1
