Operations Manager – Hauling (Waste & Recycling)

Our client is seeking a proven leader to oversee waste and recycling collection operations for a high-performing team serving commercial, residential, and roll-off customers. This position is responsible for day-to-day operations and team performance in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.

What You’ll Do :

• Lead a diverse team of supervisors, drivers, helpers, dispatchers, and clerks
• Oversee route efficiency, productivity, labor usage, and customer service metrics
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across all operations
• Manage hiring, training, performance reviews, and employee development
• Own and manage departmental budgets, expenses, and vendor relationships
• Build strong relationships with local government and community stakeholders
• Implement operational strategies that align with business goals and market growth
