Job Title : Azure Solutions Architect Banking & Data Integration Job Summary

The Azure Solutions Architect will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale solutions for a banking application focused on backend data processing and system integration . This role involves migrating data from on-premises systems to Azure, optimizing data pipelines, and delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing architecture. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership , collaborate with stakeholders, and implement innovative solutions using Azure, Kubernetes, and modern integration patterns .

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with product owners, business leaders, and engineering teams to translate priorities into actionable architectural and implementation plans.

Define and enforce architectural standards and best practices across design, development, testing, and deployment.

Optimize data pipelines and enhance system integration using REST APIs and event-driven architecture .

Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex technical challenges.

Ensure compliance with security, risk management, and regulatory standards , particularly in financial services.

Mentor and guide engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning .

Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain transparency, alignment, and progress tracking.

Required Qualifications

15+ years of software engineering and architectural experience in complex enterprise environments.

Expertise in Java (Spring Boot, REST) , event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.

Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and Kubernetes .

Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale data ecosystems and integration solutions.

Strong understanding of risk management, security, and compliance , preferably in regulated industries (financial services).

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills .

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building integration applications in Azure and data services on Snowflake .

Familiarity with modern deployment patterns and big data technologies .

Experience with hybrid cloud integration and event-driven microservices architectures.
