The Lutheran Home is hiring for our Full Time Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) position. During your 12-hour shift you will provide essential care and daily support to our residents with compassion, dignity, and respect. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to :

• Assist with daily personal care functions
• Assist with the feeding of residents
• Weigh residents using upright, chair and mechanical lift scale
• Assist in turning and positioning of residents
• Transfer residents using proper body mechanics or lifting devices for accident prevention as indicated on the care plan
• Demonstrate appropriate knowledge for safe use of medical equipment (cane, walkers, mechanical lifts, side rails, brace, splint, oxygen)
• Help keep residents' rooms clean and supplied
• Make / change beds (unoccupied and occupied)
• Ambulate residents who require minimal assistance
• Perform skin checks and notify the nurse of any abnormalities in skin integrity
• Answer residents' calls and take appropriate action
• Immediately report any abuse, neglect, and / or changes in resident's conditions or incidents to the nurse
• Communicate residents' requests or concerns in a timely manner

In this full-time role, you'll follow a consistent two-week schedule, working 7 out of 14 days with a three-day weekend every other week. Available shifts include :
