Locum Tenens - Ophthalmology OpportunityLocation : Houghton, MichiganStart Date : December 10, 2025Assignment Type : OngoingLicensure : Active MI license or IMLC accepted Position Details Specialty : Ophthalmology Setting : Clinic Surgery Facility Type : Trauma Level II Facility Setup : 3 procedure rooms Call : None EMR : Epic Remote Access to Charting : Yes Schedule Clinic Hours : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM Preferred Schedule : 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off Week 1 : Surgeries and procedures Week 2 : Follow-up visits Patient Volume : 20 patients per shift Minimum of 4 clinic patients per hour 12-14 procedures / surgeries per day Requirements Board Certification - Required BLS Certification - Required Experience : Mus t be able to perform intravitreal injections and Cataract surgery Must be comfortable with a high-volume, fast-paced setting No Trauma Cases Typically (Low trauma volume) Support & Staffing 2 experienced and efficient MAs supporting the provider Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
