Key Responsibilities :
Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays while ensuring their comfort and safety.Develop and process films, effectively transmitting them to a Radiologist for interpretation.Administer contrast media and medications within state and federal guidelines.Ensure timely transfer of images to the PACS system, maintaining accuracy in image quality and patient data.Maintain cleanliness and sterility of the work environment, adhering to aseptic techniques.Follow strict radiation safety procedures to protect both patients and staff.Qualifications :
Graduate of an AMA accredited program in Radiographic Technology.Adhere to ARRT guidelines, maintaining 24 continuing education credits bi-annually.ARRT Registered (RT(R)) or eligible, with registration required within one year of program completion.BCLS certification required within 30 days of start date.Research Medical Center is a 585+ bed hospital providing a wide range of medical services, including trauma care and specialized treatments.
