Job Summary and Qualifications

The Radiology Technologist operates both standard and advanced X-ray equipment to conduct routine and specialized radiographic examinations that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.

What you will do in this role :

  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Perform X-rays according to established protocols and develop images for radiologist interpretation.
  • Administer contrast media and medications within the standards of practice and regulations.
  • Ensure images are promptly and accurately transferred to the PACS system, maintaining quality and detail.
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the radiology room and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques.
  • Follow safety guidelines to protect patients and yourself from radiation exposure.

    • Qualifications :

  • Graduate of an AMA accredited program in Radiographic Technology.
  • Must hold ARRT registration or be registry eligible (registration within one year of program completion).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of starting.
