Gastroenterology APP – Unio Health Partners, Providence St. Joseph Hospital, Orange, CA

Compensation
Base pay range : $160,000 – $170,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders under the supervision of board‑certified gastroenterologists.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history, physical examination, and diagnostic evaluation.
- Offer pre‑ and post‑procedural care for endoscopic procedures, including advanced interventions.
- Assist with endoscopic procedures and provide procedural support as needed.
- Manage both acute and chronic gastroenterological conditions.
- Collaborate closely with physicians specializing in advanced endoscopy and therapeutic procedures.
- Support inpatient consultations and hospital‑based gastroenterology services.
- Work under a 7‑On / 7‑Off schedule, including a 12‑hour day shift.
Required Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or a Physician Assistant program.Current California NP or PA‑C license in good standing.DEA registration (or ability to obtain).Minimum of 2–5 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in a clinical setting.Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in gastroenterology.Familiarity with advanced endoscopic procedures and patient care.Benefits and Support
