About the Role
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you’ll shape the foundation of how external developers and enterprise engineering teams integrate with our platform. You’ll balance developer-centric usability with enterprise-grade requirements such as scale, security, and governance.
This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Oakland, CA or Denver, CO offices. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.
What You’ll Do
Define the roadmap that expands how customers and partners build programmatically on Fivetran—focusing on simplicity, extensibility, and enterprise readiness.
Partner closely with engineering and design to deliver intuitive, consistent developer surfaces.
Drive adoption by prioritizing investments based on developer feedback, feature usage, customer success input, and enterprise platform needs.
Champion developer-first principles and establish standards for API usability, documentation quality, and integration workflows.
Serve as a subject matter expert for APIs and developer platforms across Fivetran—ensuring technical and UX consistency.
Collaborate with Support, Partnerships, and GTM teams to ensure readiness for new API features, Terraform enhancements, and embedded solutions.
Stay on top of trends in developer platforms, Infrastructure-as-Code, and embedded SaaS—with a particular focus on extensibility and automation.
Skills We’re Looking For
Proven product management experience in B2B SaaS or platform products.
Demonstrated success building APIs, developer platforms, or Infrastructure-as-Code integrations.
Strong technical fluency—comfortable working with APIs, SDKs, Terraform, and developer workflows.
Excellent collaboration skills across Engineering, Design, Support, and GTM.
Data-informed mindset with experience balancing qualitative developer feedback and quantitative usage data.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Bonus Skills
Experience with Terraform, Infrastructure-as-Code tools, or SDK development.
Familiarity with embedded SaaS, white-label solutions, or partner integration frameworks.
Background in developer relations, platform ecosystems, or enterprise SaaS extensibility.
