ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : (Other duties may be assigned)
- Drives truck to destination within the surrounding geographic vicinity of the company.
- Utilizes material handling equipment or support personnel to load and unload.
- Maintains truck log per state and federal regulations.
- Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive more delivery instructions. Loads and unloads truck.
- Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
- Performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs.
- Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Key Competencies :
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- CDL Class A
- One to three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Requires a high school diploma / GED or 5 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area
Experience :
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within the particular field.
Computer Skills :
Proficiency in MS Word,Excel,Access, Outlook and Explorer
Mathematical Abilities :
Accuracy in data entry and basic math skills required
Analytical or Reasoning Abilities :
Ability to handle instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Communication Skills : (Writing, Foreign Language, Reasoning)
Professional verbal communication skills required
Other Skills (Technical, or Other special knowledge and abilities)
Ability to work effectively both independently and as a part of a team
