Senior Underwriter - Property - Remote
JOB TITLE : SENIOR UNDERWRITER - REMOTE
The company :
Oliver James has been partnered exclusively with a digital insurance carrier as they expand their admitted underwriting team! The client is an actively growing and successful insurtech focused on the habitational space.
The role :
At this time, they are looking to engage with Senior Underwriters. The successful Senior Underwriter will play a pivotal role in establishing and shaping the client's presence as they continue to expand.
This is a FULLY REMOTE position with some travel as deemed necessary (less than 10%).
As a Senior Underwriter, you will be responsible for :
- Quoting and releasing new and renewal business
- Analyzing and approving requested policy changes
- Building and maintaining relationships with external partners to support marketing functions and efforts to build and promote the business
- Completing special projects and assignments
The Senior Underwriter should have the following skills :
- 5+ years of Underwriting / Insurance experience
- Small Commercial or Property Experience is needed, habitational experience is a PLUS
- Strong agency relationships
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education / experience
