Position Summary :

Construct and repair building frameworks and structures made from wood and metal. Install millwork carpentry, doors, and other specialty items.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities :

• Ability to follow blueprints and building plans to meet client needs
• Construct and install structures and fixtures
• Ability to measure, cut or shape wood, plastic, and other materials
• Construct building framework, including walls, floors, and doorframes
• Help erect, level and install building framework with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
• Ability to work on staging / above ground
• Instruct and direct laborers and other construction helpers
• Work in a safe, OSHA approved manner
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Provide a good work ethic and effort towards all assigned tasks
• Willingness to learn new tasks
• Share knowledge & help train others
• Ability to communicate clearly with the team on the job site

Supervisory Responsibilities :

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Hiring Requirements / Preferences :

Other Duties :

The working hours are from 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm. Please come to the site early enough to start work at 7 : 00 am and be prepared to work up until 3 : 30 pm. Overtime may be required at times to stay on schedule.
