Job description

Overview

Crimson Education is a global EdTech company founded in 2013. We offer personalised education and technology to transform students into world leaders of tomorrow. We are the world's leading college admissions consultancy, with a large scale network of tutors and mentors and a data-driven approach to admissions guidance. This is a full-time position, based in the U.S. The role is currently fully remote but may require occasional in-person meetings and events in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Achieving agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes
  • Identifying and interacting with new potential Crimson customers
  • Establishing rapport with parents and their students to communicate and showcase the benefits of working with Crimson Education
  • Conducting sales consultations and academic assessments professionally in line with the Crimson brand
  • Presenting and promoting Crimson products to prospective families
  • Establishing, developing, and maintaining positive customer interactions that lead to referrals
  • Onboarding new clients to the Student Success Manager team
  • Contacting existing clients to inform and upsell new developments
  • Resolving customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Continuously improving sales techniques and industry knowledge
  • Hosting or attending sales-oriented marketing events when necessary
  • Maintaining effective communication with Accounts to ensure timely payment
  • Providing feedback to improve sales processes
  • Being a proactive contributor to a high-performing team

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in sales or business or an education-oriented field, and / or equivalent sales experience; preference for education-related experience
  • Clear understanding of sales fundamentals
  • Strong communication and customer rapport-building skills
  • Time management and ability to work remotely across multiple U.S. time zones
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; experience presenting to large groups is a plus
  • Knowledge of the US college admissions process and Ivy League landscape is a plus
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
